This Legal Disclaimer sets out the warranties, disclaimers, and limits on liability that apply to Script Hunter (the “Service”). It is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. No guarantee of commercial outcome

Script Hunter’s coverage reflects the editorial judgment of the writers and AI tooling that produced it. Nothing on the Service is or should be interpreted as a guarantee that any particular script will be optioned, sold, picked up, or produced.

3. AI-assisted outputs

4. No warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of results.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Script Hunter, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages, and regardless of whether the claim is based on contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory.

6. Cap on damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Script Hunter harmless from any claim brought by a third party arising out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) your upload of User Content, or (c) your violation of these Terms.

8. Force majeure

Script Hunter is not liable for any failure or delay in performance to the extent caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemic, natural disaster, internet or hosting provider outage, or change in law.

9. Severability

If any provision of this Disclaimer is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
