Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (these “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at scripthunter.ai, the Script Hunter brand, and the related coverage, parse, and review services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Script Hunter LLC (“Script Hunter,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, uploading a script, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. When you create an account you agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. The Service

Script Hunter provides on-demand script coverage: loglines, structural breakdowns, character work, scene-level analysis, dialogue notes, theme notes, rewrite prescriptions, and a Pass / Consider / Recommend verdict. Coverage is generated by a combination of automated tooling and large-language-model assistance under human editorial review; nothing on the Service is a guarantee that any particular script will be optioned, sold, or produced.

3. Subscriptions, payments, and cancellations

Paid features are offered on a subscription basis. By starting a subscription you authorize recurring charges at the rate disclosed at checkout until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Your content

You retain all rights in the scripts and other materials you upload (your “User Content”). You grant Script Hunter a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and analyze User Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. You confirm that you have the right to upload any User Content you submit and that doing so does not violate the rights of any third party. 5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source models used by the Service; use the Service to generate coverage for material you do not have the right to analyze; upload malware, illegal material, or content that violates the DMCA Policy; or otherwise use the Service in violation of applicable law.

6. AI-generated outputs

Coverage on the Service is produced with AI assistance under human editorial review. Outputs are provided for creative and analytical purposes and may contain errors. See our AI Disclosure and Terms of Use for AI Systems for the rules that apply to AI-assisted content on the Service.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, marks, code, and coverage templates, is owned by Script Hunter LLC and protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark law. See our Copyright Notice for details.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for conduct that violates these Terms, our Legal Disclaimer, or applicable law. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Script Hunter is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. 10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
